The Literacy Empowerment Campaign is an annual fundraiser. Funds raised support YCLC’s adult learners with the training and tools they need to earn a high school equivalency diploma, enhance English language skills, enter career-training programs, improve employment skills, gain citizenship and so much more. These accomplishments enrich our students lives and build a stronger foundation for our community.

A Familiar Face: 2021 Literacy Empowerment Campaign Honorary Chair
John A. Klinedinst
Amidst a global pandemic and uncertain economy, 13th Annual LEC Honorary Chair, John A. Klinedinst, inspired others to support the mission of providing educational opportunities for adults of York County, raising over $52,000 during 2020. Due to the unexpected challenges and postponement of our 2020 “Celebrate Success” event, John graciously accepted our invitation to us through another Campaign. We are incredibly honored to once again announce John A. Klinedinst as YCLC’s 14th Literacy Empowerment Campaign Honorary Chair.
